Manko Window Systems opened its doors for operation in May of 1989 in a small 3,000 square foot building with two full time employees. In the 10 years following, Manko moved three times within Manhattan to add production space for an expanding product line. Its most recent move in 1997 was to a new 50,000 sq. ft. building, its current location. Since then, this 50,000 sq. ft. building has endured numerous additions, now amounting to over 250,000 sq. ft in size with over 225 employees.

The Manhattan facility manufactures aluminum windows, entrances, storefront, curtain wall, and glass products, providing these products to all 28 states in its market.

Manko has since opened two other manufacturing facilities, Aurora, Colorado in 1996 and Des Moines, Iowa in 2014.

Manko’s Colorado branch began in 1996 in Commerce City with a focused on the aluminum window manufacturing market. After three location moves in the years since, Manko has been in Aurora since 2011 with over 110,000 sq. ft. of manufacturing space. With the large glass product line expansion in 2011, Manko Aurora currently manufactures aluminum windows, aluminum entrances, storefront, curtain wall, and glass products. Manko Aurora services the states of Colorado, Utah, Wyoming, Nebraska, South Dakota, North Dakota, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Arizona, and New Mexico.

Manko’s Des Moines facility began in 2014 with a strong presence in the glass fabrication market. Since then, the facility has continued to expand on its manufacturing product base including aluminum entrances, storefront, and curtain wall, with the balance of the Manko product line manufactured at the corporate headquarters. Manko Des Moines services the states of Iowa, Nebraska, South Dakota, North Dakota, Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Illinois.
