The need for a more thermally efficient hung window led to the development of the 3135xpt and 3141xpt. The Architectural Grade (AW) window systems come as either a true single hung or fixed configuration and utilize varying sized polyamide struts in lieu of the traditional two-part poured and debridged thermal break. The 3135xpt series has an overall frame depth of 3 1/2" and the 3141xpt series has an overall frame depth of 4 1/16”, while the operable sash section maintains a 1 1/2" depth for both series. These windows provide increased thermal efficiency while maintaining structural durability.
