Manko Window Systems, Inc. Now Certified to Manufacture Gauzy LCG® Smart Glass
Manko Window Systems, Inc. and Gauzy Ltd. are proud to announce Manko’s new designation as a Gauzy Certified Partner, enabling the company to fabricate LCG® (Light Control Glass) Smart Glass products.
As part of this partnership, Manko is working exclusively with Gauzy’s PDLC (Polymer Dispersed Liquid Crystal) films. LCG®, also referred to as smart glass, switchable glass, or privacy glass, is a dynamic material that allows traditionally static glass to become multifunctional and interactive.
Gauzy manufactures the PDLC film, which is then supplied to Manko for lamination into LCG®. When powered by electricity, PDLC technology allows glass to switch from clear to opaque, offering instant privacy, temperature control, and UV/IR filtering. This makes it ideal for a variety of interior and exterior applications.
