Irvine, CA – July 16, 2020 – Manko Window Systems, Inc. a manufacturer of architectural aluminum windows, entrances, storefronts, curtain walls, and glass fabricator, headquartered in Manhattan, Kansas, announced today the addition of Diamon-Fusion glass treatment to its fabrication products. Invisible and ultra-thin, Diamon-Fusion chemically bonds to the glass, transforming it into a high-performing, water-repellent surface protecting it from stains and corrosion.
Manko also announced that the treatment process will be machine-applied in Manhattan, using DFI’s newly developed FuseCube Express application coating machine. The FuseCube Express applies the Diamon-Fusion coating through a proprietary chemical vapor deposition process, ensuring double-sided coverage, uniform application, and a higher-quality coating. Manko’s Colorado and Iowa locations currently will be hand applying the product by trained professionals.
Built to last, Diamon-Fusion is UV resistant, requires no aftercare products, and comes with a lifetime warranty on residential surfaces and a 15-year warranty on commercial surfaces. Like a non-stick cooking pan, surfaces treated with Diamon-Fusion become easier to clean and require less care to maintain. The invisible barrier created in the Diamon-Fusion process also eliminates the need for harsh chemical cleaners, promotes a more hygienic environment by reducing mold/bacteria buildup, and keeps glass looking cleaner for longer.
Manko has manufacturing locations in three states – Kansas, Colorado, and Iowa – providing products to 28 states in the U.S. Manko’s commitment to building strong partnerships with their clients is represented by both manufacturing and independent representatives throughout the market. “We are excited to add the Diamon-Fusion product to our portfolio. Our intention is to offer this product on shower doors, exterior handrails, and insulated glass to provide customers protected, easy-to-clean, glass.” – Kevin Bahner, National Sales Manager
“With the FuseCube Express, we’ve developed a system that is extremely efficient, easy-to-use and cost-effective. When innovative companies like Manko see an opportunity to provide additional value-added benefits to their customers and envision how it can help them expand their product offering, the choice is easy.” – Guillermo Seta, VP of Business Development
Diamon-Fusion Protective Coating
Diamon-Fusion is an ultra-thin, UV resistant, protective glass coating that transforms ordinary glass into a high-performing, water-repellent surface that helps prevent staining. Similar to how a non-stick cooking pan works, surfaces treated with Diamon-Fusion become easier to clean and require less care to maintain. The invisible barrier created in the Diamon-Fusion process is also extremely smooth, which helps prevent environmental pollutants, mineral contaminants, and soap scum from damaging the glass.
FuseCube Express Protective Coating Machine
Standing on the shoulders of the FuseCube, the FuseCube Express packs all the same great capabilities of the original model, now within a minimal footprint and compact design. It’s geared to keep pace with any sized glass processor through quick run cycles and small load capacity making it a great fit for both small and large manufacturers.
