Manko Window Systems opened its doors for operation in May of 1989 in a small 3,000 square foot building with two full time employees. In the 10 years following, Manko moved three times within Manhattan to add production space for an expanding product line. Its most recent move in 1997 was to a new 50,000 sq. ft. building, its current location. Since then, this 50,000 sq. ft. building has endured numerous additions, now amounting to over 250,000 sq. ft in size with over 225 employees.

The Manhattan facility manufactures aluminum windows, entrances, storefront, curtain wall, and glass products, providing these products to all 28 states in its market.

Manko has since opened two other manufacturing facilities, Aurora, Colorado in 1996 and Des Moines, Iowa in 2014.
